Pam Harris joined the JMI Board in March 2014. Ms. Harris serves as the Maryland State Court Administrator, a post to which she was appointed in August 2013. Ms. Harris has also served as the Court Administrator for the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland. She also currently holds the position of Immediate Past President of the National Association for Court Management. She is certified as a Fellow of the Court Executive Development Program of the National Center for State Courts’ Institute for Court Management and is also a member of their faculty for caseflow management. For more than a decade, Ms. Harris has been a member of JMI’s Urban Court Managers Network. Her long background with the courts includes extensive experience working internationally. She currently serves on the board of the International Association for Court Administration as Vice President – International Associations and held a past position on the board of the Russian American Rule of Law Consortium. Ms. Harris’ international expertise spans across a wide range of countries; she has been involved in rule of law initiatives in Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Sri Lanka, India, and the Ukraine.
